Millinery Mino She grew up in an environment where her father was a leather craftsman whose hobby was collecting insects, her grandmother was a dressmaker who ran a fabric store in Shimokitazawa, her aunts and uncles made hats, and her great-uncle ran an art gallery in Ginza, so she spent her childhood surrounded by art and craftsmanship. When he was a teenager, his hand-drawn rain shoes became a hit, and he spent the next five years working in the apparel industry while making products. Although she was fascinated by headpieces, there were no stores in Japan where she could purchase the colorful headpieces, so she began teaching herself how to make them for herself. At the age of 30, he became independent and specialized in making headpieces, hats, and other highly decorative accessories. They have an atelier and shop in Kyoto, and currently the only store in Tokyo that stocks their products is in Harajuku, "Chapeaubat!"
